C2 Proficiency Exam

The CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) is the highest qualification of all Cambridge English exams. It corresponds to the C2 level (CEFR).

By taking the CPE exam, you demonstrate that you have a fluent and confident command of the English language, almost reaching the level of a native speaker. This makes you capable of working and studying at the highest professional and academic levels.

The CPE certificate is proof of your outstanding English language skills.

The Cambridge Institut Munich offers the exam as a computer-based (CB) format. 

Exam Format

The C2 Proficiency exam format consists of the following sections:

1. Reading & Use of English (1 hour 30 minutes)
2. Writing (1 hour 30 minutes)
3. Listening (approximately 40 minutes)
4. Speaking (16 minutes per candidate pair)

Preparation Course
Cambridge Institut Munich offers a 6-week preparation course for the C2 Proficiency exam. Additionally, all day -intensive courses, as well as evening courses, can be optionally completed with the C2 Proficiency English certificate.
