Below, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website.

The term "personal data" refers to all data that can be related to you personally, in reference to the definition in Article 4, No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as the "General Data Protection Regulation" or "GDPR"). Regarding other terminology, especially the terms "processing," "controller," "processor," and "consent," we refer to the legal data protection definitions in Article 4 of the GDPR.

 

We generally process personal data only to the extent necessary for providing a functioning website and the content and services offered by us. Processing of personal data when using our website for informational purposes

When you visit our website without registering or otherwise providing us with information ("Informational Use"), we only collect the personal data that your web browser transmits to our server. If you want to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security:

The collection and temporary storage of the IP address is necessary to enable the delivery of our website to your device. For this purpose, your IP address must be stored for the duration of your visit to our website. The storage of the above data in log files is done to ensure the functionality and optimization of our website, as well as to ensure the security of our information technology systems. These data are not evaluated for marketing purposes.

The aforementioned purposes constitute our legitimate interest in data processing. The legal basis for the collection and temporary storage of the data mentioned above is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.

The above data for providing our website will be deleted when the respective session is ended. Data in log files will be deleted no later than seven days later. We only store data beyond this point if we have deleted or anonymized your IP address beforehand, making it impossible to associate the data with your person. The collection of the above data for providing our website and the storage of this data in log files is mandatory for the operation of our website. There is no possibility to object to this.

Processing of personal data through cookies

We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the storage medium of your end device, such as a hard drive, and through which certain information flows to us as the entity that sets the cookie. Newsletter

We provide a newsletter that you can subscribe to on our website. Details about the newsletter, especially its possible content, are specified in the consent declaration. When you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you enter in the input mask during the newsletter registration will be transmitted to us. To subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide us with the mandatory data requested:

For the newsletter registration, we use the double-opt-in procedure. You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe by clicking the link provided in every newsletter email we send you. Alternatively, you can also unsubscribe from the newsletter using the form provided on our website.

Registration

To use additional features of our website, we offer the option to register by providing personal information. The data is entered into an input mask and transmitted and stored by us. The data is not disclosed to third parties. The mandatory information requested during registration is marked accordingly and must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject the registration. The following data is collected as part of the registration process:

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. This is the case when the registration on our website is canceled or modified. You have the option to dissolve the registration at any time. The data stored about you can be modified at any time. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

We only transmit personal data to third parties if it is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract. Usage of the Overheat Conversion Optimization Suite

This website uses overheat.de, a web analytics tool provided by "overheat UG (haftungsbeschränkt)" with its registered office at Stürzenberger Weg 30, 51766 Engelskirchen, Germany. It records interactions of randomly selected individual visitors to the website in an anonymized manner. This includes creating a log of actions such as mouse movements and clicks with the aim of identifying opportunities for improving the respective website. Our legitimate interest in processing this data lies in the desire to enhance the website.

The following personal data is processed but not stored: The IP address of the user's accessing system.

When using this website, Overheat also collects non-personal data, such as information about the operating system, browser, clicked links, geographic origin, as well as device resolution and type. These data are stored in non-personally identifiable form and are analyzed for statistical purposes. They are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for our evaluation purposes.

Google Analytics

We use "Google Analytics" on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google uses cookies, which are small text files stored on your device, enabling an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is typically transmitted to and stored on a Google server.
